Coucher de Soleil

Original Oil Painting, 32 x 48. I had met Janny at a portrait painting session in Quebec city and noticed that she was wearing her Moto Boots. I asked her what type of bike she rides and we would chat about riding. I mentioned to her that I wanted to do a few paintings of her on her motorcycle, and she was excited about this idea. We met one autumn evening at a local vineyard north of Quebec City. It was harvest time at the vineyard, and the sunset was just perfect. We made our way up the very steep and slippery gravel road to the upper parts of the vineyard and captured this perfect moment.
